The EURO 2024 quarter-final action concludes with two more fixtures taking place as nations aim to join Spain and France in the final four after Friday’s victories.

What can we expect from day 21?
In the opening fixture of the night from Düsseldorf, England take on Switzerland.
Then our semi-final line-up will be completed in the capital as the Netherlands take on Türkiye at Berlin’s Olympiastadion.
It is a year to the day since Granit Xhaka departed Arsenal to join Bayer Leverkusen, where he would go on to help lead the side to an undefeated domestic double.
Will he be involved in another English exit 12 months on? The midfielder has passed a fitness test after concerns over his condition in the wake of the win over Italy and it will be music to Swiss’ ears given how he has performed so far this summer.
In fact, Xhaka is now just one European Championship Man of the Match award away from registering more than any other player (six, level with Cristiano Ronaldo and Andrés Iniesta) – and he already has two under his belt in Germany.
That is no surprise given that he has created more chances (eight), completed more passes (254) and made more line-breaking passes (51) than any other Swiss player at EURO 2024.
Common sense prevails?
