Premier League giants prepare to enter the fold
The Carabao Cup will soon enter its third round as Premier League giants prepare to enter the fray.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City and Manchester United are all set to begin their cup campaigns.
There has been a change in the format due to the revamping of the Champions League, too.
Indeed, a team who are playing Champions League football cannot be drawn against a team competing in the Europa League, in a bid to avoid further fixture congestion after the increased workload on the European front following the introduction of at least two more games.
The Carabao Cup third round draw will feature two different bowls to ensure teams are drawn correctly. The first bowl will include the six clubs in the Champions League and Europa League, while the second will include the rest of the 26 teams.
Here’s everything you need to know.

There will first be a pre-draw before that game to determine the home and away positions of the Bowl One clubs.
