When SAFC fans can see the Welcome to Sunderland sign at the Roker End | OneFootball

Sunderland supporters are set to see the Welcome to Sunderland sign from Roker Park on the exterior of the Stadium of Light’s Roker End when Nottingham Forest visit on Friday 24 April, part of the club’s first Made in Sunderland Week.

The city-wide celebration begins on Monday, 20 April and runs throughout the week. The club said in a statement that the University of Sunderland will join as the 2026 MiS partner, helping to champion Sunderland’s story across the region and beyond.

Matchday plans are designed to celebrate the city at every turn, with local voices, local talent and local creativity woven through the occasion.

An expanded fan zone, live from Keel Square, will showcase the best of Wearside, with local artists invited to shape the visual and cultural feel of the experience.

More announcements and activations will be revealed in the build-up to the week.
