An insight into the most likely dates for the La Liga meeting between Barcelona and Osasuna to be played out has on Sunday been provided.

This of course comes after the planned clash between the sides in Catalunya’s capital was postponed at the last minute on Saturday night.

Less than an hour out from kick-off, Barcelona announced the sudden passing of first-team doctor Carles Miñarro Garcia.

As much means that last night’s fixture will need to be rescheduled by the powers that be in Spanish football.

And as alluded to above, this afternoon, an insight into precisely when the newly scheduled matchup is most likely to be played out has been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and confirms that the situation will be dependent on Barcelona’s progress in Europe.

Should Hansi Flick’s troops be sent packing from the Champions League by Benfica this week, then the following dates will open up to face Rayo:

8-16 April, 29 April, and 7 May.

On the other hand, should the Blaugrana navigate their passage all the way to the finale, then only one date will be available to take on Rayo – May 21.
