Liverpool released a stunning third kit fitting for the champions of the Premier League.

Back with the classic trefoil adidas logo and a sea green colourway, it sends all of us back down memory lane to the 1990s and early 2000s, when Liverpool often sported similar away shirts.

From the Candy sponsored early adidas designs to the classic Carlsberg shirts of the 2000s, this has it all.

It's fair to say it is an instant classic. Adidas have once again delivered a masterpiece. Not for the first time this season with both the home and away shirts absolutely stunning as well.

Now we just cannot wait to see it in action. Kits always look better on the pitch and we have a feeling this one is going to look extraordinary good on the players.

Listed as Liverpool's third kit and 'European' shirt we should be seeing it in action a fair few times during the season.

Liverpool fans should not have to wait too long to see it either. The Reds are expected to debut the kit against Burnley on Sunday when they return to action from the international break.

The game kicks off at 14:00 local UK time and will be at Burnley's Turf Moor stadium. With the green being the perfect contrast to Burnley's claret and blue, Liverpool are going to be wearing the new shirt.

This means we'll see the likes of Florian Wirtz, Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk don the classic new colours and trefoil logo for the first time.

We may even see Alexander Isak wearing it, as he is expected to be in the squad that travels to Burnley after playing around 20 minutes or so for Sweden during the international break.
