Wolves and West Brom renew their Championship rivalry in August, and fans are set to get up to five months’ notice on 2026/27 TV picks.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the EFL’s opening weekend of league action across all three divisions will be shown live on Sky Sports and Sky Sports + from August 14 to 16, with all broadcasts before the end of September confirmed by July 2.

Further announcements will land by July 31, covering televised games up to and including January 8 to January 11. By November 6, picks will be in place for all fixtures up to and including the midweek of March 2 and March 3.

Selections for the weekend of March 5 to March 8 will be confirmed by February 5. After that, weekly updates will schedule games four weeks ahead, with the penultimate weekend chosen three weeks out and the final round one week out.

Fixture release day for Wolves, Albion and Walsall is Thursday, June 25 at midday. The season opens on the weekend of August 8 with the EFL Cup first round, then the league follows the next weekend.

Wolves return to the second tier after Rob Edwards’ side were relegated and finished bottom following eight seasons in the Premier League. Albion stayed up under James Morrison, who has a two-year contract, and the Black Country derby returns to the league for the first time since 2020/21, with supporters at Molineux and The Hawthorns for the first time since 2011/12.
