The season opens with the EFL Cup first round on the weekend of August 8, then the league begins the following weekend. Fans will have up to five months’ notice.

TV games before the end of September will be confirmed by July 2. Selections up to and including January 8 to January 11 will follow by July 31.

By November 6, broadcasts will be set for all fixtures up to and including the midweek of March 2 and March 3. Picks for March 5 to March 8 will be confirmed by February 5.

After that, weekly announcements will cover matches four weeks ahead. The penultimate weekend will be chosen three weeks in advance, with the final weekend confirmed a week out.

Wolves return to the second tier after eight seasons in the Premier League under Rob Edwards, finishing bottom. James Morrison kept Albion up and has a permanent two-year contract as head coach. League Black Country derbies resume for the first time since 2020/21, and the first with supporters since 2011/12.
