One of the core pillars of Club Deportivo Guadalajara's philosophy is developing young talent to strengthen its different squads and Mexico's National Teams. Heading into the Apertura 2026, Chivas Femenil has several U-19 players in contention to earn minutes with the First Team.
Valeria Alvarado
A midfielder with outstanding individual quality. Her ability to change direction while carrying the ball allows her to find incisive passing lanes that break through opposing defensive lines.
She has been one of the academy players most consistently involved with the Rojiblancas in recent tournaments, featuring in Circuito Rosa matches while also maintaining a regular presence with Mexico's youth national teams.
Mia Urbano
A forward with excellent movement and a strong presence inside the opponent's penalty area. Naturally right-footed, she is also capable of striking the ball effectively with her left foot.
Mia Urbano made her professional debut during the Clausura 2026 and even scored her first goal in Liga MX Femenil. She remains part of the coaching staff's plans for the upcoming season.
Valentina Ponce
A goalkeeper with excellent reflexes who complements her shot-stopping ability with strong footwork and impressive athleticism to make difficult saves.
She is a very complete player because, in addition to her qualities between the posts, she has experience as an outfield player, giving her an added advantage in reading the game.
Valeria Márquez
A left-footed goalkeeper with excellent size. She is physically strong when contesting aerial balls and demonstrates outstanding communication skills with her defensive line, helping organize the team from the back.
She is also capable of launching attacking transitions with accurate long distribution, bypassing defensive lines and creating second-ball opportunities.
Emma Cordulack
An attacking midfielder who joined the Sacred Flock's U-19 team from New York Soccer Club. She primarily plays as a central midfielder and stands out for her ability to combine with teammates and thread passes between the lines.
The daughter of Mexican parents, Emma Cordulack is considered one of the most promising young talents in women's soccer in her position.
