The pressure continues to weigh heavily on Aymen Mahious at JS Kabylie (JSK). After missing several clear chances in the recent match against Al Ahly, the Canaries' striker was booed by a section of the crowd, amplifying an already tense atmosphere that has lingered for weeks. Visibly affected, the player reportedly struggled to contain his emotions, especially in the wake of criticism deemed excessive.

According to the Algerian outlet “Compétition”, his teammates tried to calm the storm in the dressing room, reminding him that slumps are simply part of a striker’s journey. This support is crucial for a player who arrived last summer with high expectations and a special status surrounding his signing.

Despite a more prolific run in the league, Mahious continues to struggle on the continental stage, with zero goals in nine Champions League appearances. Still backed by Josef Zinnbauer, he remains a key piece in the Kabyle setup. Now eliminated from other competitions, JSK expects an immediate response from him in the league.
