Mohamed Salah is going through a tough spell at Liverpool and his future at the club is up in the air. If he were to leave, Antoine Semenyo could be his replacement, according to the Daily Express.

The Egyptian forward has started on the bench in the last three games, and his relationship with coach Arne Slot is reportedly strained. After the match against Leeds, Salah stated:

They clearly want to put all the blame on me. The club promised me a lot this summer and now I've been a substitute three times in a row.

Several Saudi clubs are keeping tabs on Salah, while Liverpool are already considering Semenyo as an alternative. The Bournemouth player has a £60 million release clause and is under contract until 2030. Salah’s deal with Liverpool runs until 2027.
