The final 18-player squad for the USWNT at the Paris Olympics 2024 features a nice balance of experience and youth as the Stars and Stripes look to earn their fifth gold medal.
Just a few weeks after the USMNT's disappointing group stage exit at Copa America 2024, the USWNT will travel to France and compete on one of the world's biggest stages. Emma Hayes has a trophy cabinet full of silverware from her time at Chelsea, but the manager is hoping to add something gold this summer.
Without many of the players that brought such success to the USWNT, including Alex Morgan, Hayes will rely on the next generation to bring international glory home to the USA.

The youngest USWNT player is Lily Yohannes. The midfielder made her USWNT debut against South Korea on June 4 at just 16 years old, and she even celebrated her record-breaking night with a goal. The Ajax player is also the youngest player to ever start in a Women's Champions League match.
With just one international cap to her name, Yohannes did not make the USWNT Paris Olympics 2024 roster.

The youngest USWNT player at the Paris Olympics 2024 is Jaedyn Shaw. Born on Nov. 20, 2004, the forward is 19 years old. Despite her youth, though, Shaw already has 14 caps for the USWNT since her debut on Oct. 26, 2023.
In such a short time, Shaw has recorded seven goals and one assist. She also was named the U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year for 2022 and won the Golden Ball at the 2019 CONCACAF Girls Under-15 Championship.

Mia Hamm still holds the record for the youngest USWNT debut of all time. The two-time Women's World Cup winner first represented her country at age 15 in 1987, and in the three decades since, no one has taken the pitch for the Stars and Stripes at a younger age.
Hamm scored 158 international goals during her illustrious career, and still holds the USWNT record for the most assists with 144.
