Who will referee Boca v Racing in the Torneo Clausura semi-final

The Professional Football League has announced who will be the main referee and his assistants for the match that Boca Juniors will play against Racing Club in the semifinal of the 2025 Clausura Tournament. The person in charge of officiating will be Darío Herrera, who recently officiated a match for the Xeneize.

Darío Herrera was appointed by the Argentine refereeing officials for the crucial match that the Xeneize will play this Sunday at La Bombonera. The main referee will be accompanied by assistants Cristian Navarro and Sebastian Raineri. The fourth referee will be Sebastian Martinez. Meanwhile, in the VAR will be Silvio Trucco and Fabrizio Llobet.

Herrera will be the referee for the classic at La Bombonera.

Herrera recently officiated the team led by Claudio Úbeda in the last match of the regular phase of the championship, against Tigre. Throughout his career as a referee, he has officiated 39 times for the Xeneize team. In those matches, the Ribera team achieved 20 wins, 11 draws, and 8 losses.

Against the Academia, the blue and gold team has never won with this referee. He officiated three times, resulting in two wins for the Avellaneda team (one by penalties) and the other was a draw.

On the other hand, it is important to remember that the match will be played on Sunday, December 7th at 7:00 PM at the Alberto J. Armando stadium and will be broadcast on both ESPN Premium and TNT Sports.
