La Liga giants Barcelona had a team of scouts in attendance at the recent international meeting between Slovenia and Kosovo.

This came to keep a close eye on the performance of Fisnik Asllani.

Hoffenheim frontman Asllani is widely understood to have made his way onto the transfer radar of those behind the scenes at the Spotify Camp Nou.

As much comes with the 23-year-old – who has racked up six goals and two assists at club level this season – considered one of the more financially viable targets to replace Robert Lewandowski.

As per a report from Diario Sport, Barca, in turn, sent scouts to watch Asllani play his part in Kosovo’s recent World Cup qualifier against Slovenia.

And en route to a 2-0 triumph for his country, the striker opened the scoring inside 10 minutes.

In a source of concern for the Blaugrana, however, it is noted that Bayern Munich, who also watched on from the stands for the fixture, have since gone on to open talks with Hoffenheim over the terms of a deal for Asllani.
