Sky Sport Italia reports that new Juventus director Giovanni Carnevali still sees Emiliano Martinez as Juventus’ priority target in goal, so the Bianconeri will continue to push for the Argentine, who is already looking for a home in Turin.
Juventus continue to chase Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez even after Damien Comolli’s resignation and Carnevali’s appointment as General Manager and CEO.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Aston Villa goalkeeper Martinez remains Juventus’ primary target in goal even with Carnevali in charge.
The new Juventus director is aware that coach Luciano Spalletti wants an experienced goalkeeper, and Carnevali’s appointment could even facilitate the negotiations.

The Italian director, in fact, is on very good terms with Martinez’s agents, who are the same ones as Nemanja Matic, whom Carnevali brought to Sassuolo last summer.
Juventus have already reached a principle of agreement with Martinez and are now in talks with Aston Villa.
Juventus sporting director Marco Ottolini has stepped up talks in recent days and, according to Di Marzio, Martínez is so eager to join the Bianconeri that he has already begun searching for a house in Turin.
