The coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona will be keeping a watchful eye on the upcoming Nations League meeting between Spain and Denmark.

This comes owing to the expected contributions of Barca youngster Lamine Yamal.

Wide-man Lamine is for his part expected to be utilised from the off this evening, when European champions Spain play host to Denmark in Murcia.

The 17-year-old, though, will be forced to watch his step…

Lamine finds himself just a solitary yellow card away from suspension in the Nations League at present.

Should the attacker pick up a booking over the 90 minutes against Denmark, he will in turn not be permitted to feature in Spain’s ensuing outing against Serbia next Tuesday.

And though as much would come as a personal blow for Lamine himself, it would likely be considered a source of relief by those back in Barcelona, eager for their side’s prodigious young winger to be afforded some much-needed rest.
