Harry Maguire has been charged with improper conduct by the FA following his red card during Manchester United's match against Bournemouth.
The charge alleges that Maguire used "abusive or insulting words or behaving incorrectly" towards the fourth official, Matt Donohue.
Maguire was shown a straight red card for pulling back Evanilson, which led to a penalty for Bournemouth in the 2-2 draw.
This charge could result in an extended ban for the England defender, potentially ruling him out of Manchester United's trip to Chelsea.
Maguire has until 2 April to provide his response to the FA regarding the charge.
