Liverpool face bottom-of-the-table Wolves today as Arne Slot’s team look to extend their winning run to four games in all competitions.
The Reds defeated Tottenham 2-1 on Saturday in a match overshadowed by the injury sustained to Alexander Isak, who fractured his leg in the process of scoring the opening goal after a challenge by Micky van de Ven described as “reckless” by Slot.
Wolves, however, slumped to a 2-0 home defeat to Brentford and have now lost their last 11 games in all competitions. They have just two points and are 16 points off safety.
Goals from Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz secured a 2-1 win for the Reds in this fixture last season.
The match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 27 December at Anfield, with kick-off at 3pm GMT.
As the match is taking place during the 3pm Saturday blackout, it will not be televised live in the UK.
Sky Sports has the highlights of all Saturday 3pm kick-offs from 5:15pm GMT on their app and YouTube channel.
In addition, viewers in the UK can watch extended highlights of all of Saturday’s matches via BBC’s Match of the Day, which airs at 10:25pm GMT on Saturday night.

Alexander Isak has been ruled out for at least two months after suffering a fractured leg in the win against Tottenham.
Conor Bradley also suffered an injury but is rated as “50-50” for the Wolves game as is forward Cody Gakpo, who missed the Spurs clash.
The Reds will be without Dominik Szoboszlai, who is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season, while Joe Gomez and Wataru Endo remain absent. Mohamed Salah is at the African Cup of Nations with Egypt. Jeremie Frimpong could make his first start after a long injury lay-off, while Federico Chiesa is also in line for a rare start.
Rob Edwards will be without Tawanda Chirewa and Emmanuel Agbadou, who are at the African Cup of Nations, while Jean-Richer Bellegarde is still out with a hamstring injury. Marshall Munetsi is a long-term absentee with a calf injury.
