Inter stars Lautaro Martinez, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Kristian Asllani are all one yellow card away from suspension in the Champions League.
It kicks off at San Siro at 20.00 GMT.
The second leg of this Champions League Round of 16 tie will be at the Wanda Metropolitano on March 13.
There is the very real risk that some of the Nerazzurri first-choice players will have to miss out on that tie, because the yellow cards are not wiped out after the group phase.
That means Lautaro Martinez, Mkhitaryan and Asllani are all one booking away from a Champions League ban.
Atletico Madrid have less to worry about, as the only one of their players who is on the verge of suspension is Samuel Lino.
The yellow cards are also going to hang over these players up until the quarter-finals are completed, then the slate is wiped clean from the semi-final onwards.
