Corinthians will again be without right-back Matheuzinho on Sunday, he is suspended for the 14th-round trip to Mirassol at 20:30 at the Maião.

According to Meu Timao, he is serving a three-match league suspension, two already completed. The total combines a two-game punishment for aggression towards Flaco López in the Dérbi and a further match for reaching his third yellow card in the competition.

Having sat out the meetings with Vitória and Vasco da Gama, he completes the final game of his ban against Mirassol. He is due to return in the Brasileirão for the clássico with São Paulo on 10 May at Neo Química Arena.

The initial sanction for the Dérbi incident was four matches, reduced to two by the STJD after a Corinthians appeal.

Head coach Fernando Diniz also has other key absences, with centre-back Gustavo Henrique and midfielders André and André Carrillo suspended.

In the treatment room are defenders Hugo Farias and João Pedro, midfielder Charles, and forwards Kayke, Memphis Depay and Vitinho, while Gui Negão is a doubt.

Despite the absences, Corinthians are unbeaten in seven under Diniz. In the Brasileirão they beat Vasco last time out and could finish the round in the G8 with another win this weekend.
