Most of the 16 stadiums for the 2026 World Cup, staged in the United States, Canada and Mexico from 11 June to 19 July, will carry temporary names.

According to L'Équipe, the rebrands stem from FIFA’s commercial partnerships, which do not align with the venues’ usual naming-rights sponsors.

In Texas, the Dallas Cowboys’ home, AT&T Stadium, will operate as Dallas Stadium, with AT&T signage on the facade being covered.

Seattle’s Lumen Field will be renamed Seattle Stadium. In Mexico, the largest stadium in Latin America, Banorte Stadium, capacity 87,000, has been retitled Mexico City Stadium.

In Canada, BC Place Vancouver is state owned, and its name will not change.

In Atlanta, the large Mercedes emblem atop the Falcons’ stadium will remain because removal could damage the retractable roof. Logos on the sides have been covered, and the venue will be called Atlanta Stadium during the World Cup.
