It was almost a year ago when reports speculated about Neymar Jr.'s possible arrival at Inter Miami. However, it didn’t work out, and the Brazilian star ended up joining Santos FC.

Afterwards, there was some news linking him with FC Cincinnati, but nothing was confirmed. Now, the past rumour of a possible deal with the Herons has been refloated.

Despite this being exciting for the MLS, fans should know that if the former PSG forward joins Miami, the MSN isn’t expected to be reunited.

I realize it's disappointing, but there's a key reason why this trio is unlikely to reunite on the professional pitch.

Luis Suarez is not expected to renew his contract with Inter Miami = MSN not together

If you are not on theme yet, Luis Suarez’s contract finishes in 2027 (31st of December 2026). Additionally, Neymar’s contract with Santos is set to expire on the same date, and multiple reports indicate that he will conclude his stint with the Brazilian club then.

Thus, Neymar and Suarez won’t share time at Miami, if we keep it logical. Why? At 39 years old, Suarez has provided valuable support for Inter Miami in Messi's absence, but next year, he is likely to be more of a liability than an asset.

Father time catches up with all of us at some point, and I think it happened with Luis Suarez after this season.

However, that is common sense, but how many times have we seen teams extend a contract just to draw attention to them and try to capitalize on a veteran player or a former lethal trio like the MSN?
