Whilst Paris Saint-Germain appeared determined not to pursue their efforts to sign RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomandé (19), the arrival of new intermediaries – who are said to be much closer to the Rouge et Bleu management – could well shake things up, according to reports in L’Équipe.

And this is particularly due to Real Madrid’s apparent difficulty in convincing their German counterparts to sell the Ivorian forward, even though the latter is said to have already reached an agreement to join the Spanish club. However, the expansion of his entourage in recent days is reported to have slowed down negotiations, whilst ever-increasing transfer fees are reportedly being demanded for the player.

This is a situation from which PSG could well benefit, as they are aware of Diomandé’s interest in their project and his strong desire to play under Luis Enrique. Whilst nothing is yet certain, the Parisians may nevertheless be tempted by the prospect of launching a final push in the coming hours – provided, that is, that Real Madrid do not manage to finalise the deal first.
