Wilfried Singo sets his sights on Galatasaray
Wilfried Singo is currently in Istanbul to finalize his move to Galatasaray. Having arrived from Monaco in the night of Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the Ivorian right-back is poised to join the Turkish club in a deal valued at €30 million. The transfer is expected to be made official within the next few hours.
The Africa Cup of Nations champion has agreed to the contract terms proposed by Galatasaray after negotiations over the past few days. The 24-year-old Ivorian international departs AS Monaco after two seasons on the Rock. The central defender, who was converted to a right-back, joined the Principality in 2023 from Torino for around €10 million.
The agreement between the two clubs includes a flat transfer fee of €30 million, with an additional €5 million in potential bonuses. Monaco will also retain a 10% sell-on clause for any future transfer of the player. This transaction marks an excellent financial operation for the Red and Whites, tripling their initial investment.
Singo is set to sign with Galatasaray for four seasons, with an option for an additional year. This signing is part of the Istanbul club's ambitious recruitment drive, with nearly €120 million spent this summer, including the arrivals of Osimhen and Sané.
