Flamengo have seven players away on international duty this window, and the club must assess who can feature at Bragantino.

Jorge Carrascal faces France with Colombia on Sunday 29 March in Washington, United States, then should have time to recover in Rio. The others are in action on Tuesday 31 March, two days before the game, and are due back on Wednesday 1 April. The club do not plan to interfere with the logistics for their foreign call-ups, but, according to GE, they will seek to bring Danilo and Léo Pereira back as quickly as possible.

Léo Pereira and Danilo are with Brazil for Brazil v Croatia on 31 March in Orlando, United States.

Varela, De la Cruz and Arrascaeta are with Uruguay for Algeria v Uruguay on 31 March in Turin, Italy.

Plata is with Ecuador for Netherlands v Ecuador on 31 March in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

Selection will depend on each player's minutes and fatigue from these matches. Last year, Brazil met Tunisia in France on 18 November and Flamengo played Fluminense the next day, with Arrascaeta, Alex Sandro and Danilo arriving in Rio only on matchday. Coach Filipe Luís had to field youngster João Victor in defence.

Bragantino v Flamengo is scheduled in Bragança Paulista on Thursday 2 April at 21:30 Brasília time, in the ninth round of the Brasileirão.
