Liverpool will entertain Real Madrid at Anfield this Tuesday night as they look to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds managed to secure a solid 2-0 win over Aston Villa recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this clash versus Los Blancos in midweek.
Arne Slot will once again opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Hugo Ekitike will once again lead the charge for the Merseyside club up top.
Giorgi Mamardashvili will operate in between the sticks for the Reds after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Ibrahima Konate will continue to play alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of the Liverpool defence as they try to keep the opposition attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
Conor Bradley will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Andy Robertson hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.
Joe Gomez and Milos Kerkez will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will anchor the midfield for the Merseyside club as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and create some decent chances in the final third.
The talented trio of Cody Gakpo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah will play just ahead of them as part of Slot’s attack. Both Gakpo and Salah would try to get in behind the Real Madrid backline at every chance they get.
Florian Wirtz and Wataru Endo will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Hugo Ekitike will spearhead the Liverpool attack up top. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet this Tuesday night after failing to do so against Aston Villa in his last appearance.
Federico Chiesa will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the latter stages of the game if needed.
