Liverpool will face off against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium this Tuesday night as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds managed to earn an impressive 5-2 win over West Ham United recently, so they will be eager to keep their good form going in midweek.

Arne Slot will stick with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Hugo Ekitike will once again get the nod to lead the line for the Merseyside club up top.

Defence

Alisson Becker will feature in between the sticks for the Reds after he shipped in two goals in his last league outing. Ibrahima Konate will function alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the heart of the Liverpool backline as they look to keep things solid on the defensive end of the field.

Joe Gomez will once again fill in as the right-back, while Milos Kerkez looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Andy Robertson and Jeremie Frimpong will offer cover for the full-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will anchor the midfield for the Merseyside outfit as they look to dictate the tempo of the game at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Cody Gakpo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah will play just ahead of them as part of Slot’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if they want to engineer enough chances for the Reds to secure a convincing win at the Molineux Stadium this Tuesday night.

Trey Nyoni, Curtis Jones and Rio Ngumoha will have to settle for a place on the bench as they await their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Hugo Ekitike will spearhead Slot’s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a real menace in the final third.

Federico Chiesa will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if needed.
