Two first-half goals gave England a 2-1 victory over South Africa in an international friendly in Coventry.
The Lionesses struck twice in the first quarter of the match, Leah Williamson netting from the edge of the box after a Jess Naz cut-back, before Grace Clinton headed home Maya Le Tissier’s cross.

South Africa halved the deficit 10 minutes after the interval, Thembi Kgatlana slotting past Mary Earps after Alex Greenwood had conceded possession.
Chloe Kelly was denied when striking the crossbar but it was a win for the Lionesses in Coventry.
