Newcastle United faced off against Paris Saint-Germain earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Magpies made a slow start to the game and conceded the opener in the eighth minute when Vitinha found the back of the net for the home side. However, Joe Willock equalised for Eddie Howe’s side in the dying embers of the first half. Both teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

The Tyneside club fought tooth and nail in the second half and managed to earn a hard-fought 1-1 draw away from home.
