Willy Sagnol has been dismissed as Georgia head coach, a day after a 0-1 defeat to Northern Ireland in the Nations League.
The loss came in the opening match of the 2027 Nations League campaign. The Georgian federation announced the decision on Saturday.

In its message, the federation thanked Sagnol for his time and the emotions shared on a historic journey, highlighting qualification for Euro 2024, where Georgia exited in the last 16.
The former Bayern Munich and France right-back, 49, had been in charge since February 2021 and oversaw 57 matches.
Ramaz Svanadze will take over, appointed until the end of 2028. He previously led the under-21s.
