Wilson Odobert could miss the rest of Tottenham’s season after suffering a knee injury.

The France Under-21 forward was substituted in the 35th minute of Tuesday’s 1-2 home defeat by Newcastle after landing awkwardly on his kneecap. According to L'Équipe, a source close to the club says he is likely to undergo surgery in the coming days.

The problem has been diagnosed as a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.

Since the start of 2026, Odobert had become one of the most used attackers at the London club and among the most consistent performers.

As he headed for the dressing room on Tuesday night, he did not imagine the injury would prove so serious.
