According to L’Équipe, Brest look set to say goodbye to winger Franck Honorat, who is reportedly looking for a new challenge in his career. Manager Éric Roy has already been informed that the Frenchman would be set to leave if a deal satisfied ‘all parties’ since his contract extension in the autumn.

With a market value of 9 million euros according to Transfermarkt, the departure of the 27-year-old player would undoubtably leave an offensive hole in Éric Roy’s side.

Honorat joined Stade Brestois in the summer of 2019 and quickly established himself as a key player in the squad. This season, he has been instrumental in Les Pirates’ performances, demonstrating his exceptional abilities on the wing. In 32 appearances in all competitions, Honorat has found the back of the net six times and made a valuable contribution with five assists.
