The Girona FC faces a crucial match this Saturday at Montilivi against Osasuna to close the first half of the season. In the pre-match press conference, the red-and-white coach, Míchel Sánchez, emphasized the importance of the three points to keep the team out of the relegation zone and analyzed the state of the squad, the winter transfer market, and the opponent.

“It’s a very important match for us. Finishing the first half of the season with 21 points would be just enough to stay out of the relegation zone. In terms of sports, Girona regains Stuani and Livakovic, while Solís will not be available after not training with the team, in the context of negotiations for his departure in this winter transfer market. “Solís leaving means we have very few solutions in midfield.
