It was an eventful morning for Guadalajara's youth teams, who played Matchday 7 of the 2025 Apertura against their Cruz Azul counterparts. These matches ended in a fairly even balance, with one victory for each side. So, if you want to know what happened in these clashes, read on.

U-19Thanks to a tremendous start to the game and an unyielding fighting spirit, Guadalajara managed to secure the three points at the last minute.

Chivas U19 started the game at an unbeatable pace, with Jhonnatan Grajales making it 1-0 after just 13 seconds following a set piece. With the action already leaning towards the red-and-white side, the Rebaño struck again in the 22nd minute through Sebastián Bucio. Before the end of the first half, Iván Silva pulled one back for the Blues.

In the second half, the visitors showed that it would not be easy, equalizing in the 57th minute through Jonathan Meza. However, just when it looked like the match would end in a draw, José Elenes appeared in the 91st minute and gave the Rebaño the three points, taking advantage of a loose ball in the area and pushing it into the back of the net for the final 3-2.

U-21Although Guadalajara took an early lead with a goal from Gael García, Cruz Azul took advantage of some lapses in concentration and managed to come back before the end of the first half, putting the Rojiblancos in a very difficult position.

In the second half, the Rebaño Sagrado came out looking for the equalizer, but they were unable to capitalize on the opportunities that came their way and ended up losing 2-4 to the Cementeros. Gael García scored for Guadalajara in the 17th minute and Leonardo Torres in the 87th, while La Máquina opened the scoring with an own goal by Gallegos in the 24th minute. Amaury García scored in the 41st minute, Christian Valdivia in the 70th minute, and Alex Gutiérrez in the 73rd minute.
