With new faces, São Paulo hold tactical training with an eye on Chapecoense

São Paulo held a tactical training session on Sunday morning, continuing their preparation for the match against Chapecoense. Promising players Ryan Francisco and Paulinho participated in the activities led by coach Hernán Crespo on the SuperCT field.

Although not yet 100% recovered, both forwards have returned to ball work. Ryan Francisco, a sensation last season, hasn't played since July last year when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament and had a meniscus injury in his left knee.

The promising youngster engaged in physical and technical work with the rest of the squad but has not yet been cleared for contact play.

Meanwhile, Paulinho, a standout in this season's Copinha, suffered a ligament strain in his left knee during the youth tournament final and hasn't played since January. After conservative treatment, he is now back on the field.

The forward was on the field accompanied by physiotherapy staff and performed individual exercises, followed by a linear run.

In addition to the two players, a group of athletes from the CFA in Cotia joined Hernán Crespo's activity. São Paulo conducted tactical training focusing on 11 vs. 11 matchups in two training blocks.
