With no renewal talks, four Vasco players can sign pre-contracts elsewhere

Vasco are seeking a new head coach while facing pressing contract calls. Four players are into the final six months of their deals and can sign pre-contracts from July, according to Globo.com.

Daniel Fuzato, Pablo, Hugo Moura and Tchê Tchê are the quartet. None has been approached by Vasco about an extension so far. Under Fifa rules, players in the last six months of a contract may agree a free move at the end of their term.

Next steps will also be shaped by the incoming coaching staff. Hugo Moura and Tchê Tchê have drawn interest for mid-year window moves, but the board views midfield as light on numbers and will only sanction exits if reinforcements arrive.

Tchê Tchê has had contact from at least two Serie A clubs, while Hugo Moura received an offer from Japanese football. Talks have not progressed. The club’s legal instability, with president Pedrinho removed from the SAF leadership, has slowed some market activity.

Fuzato, signed in January last year, is understudy to Léo Jardim. He struggled when selected and has eight appearances across two seasons, and the expectation is that he will depart when his contract ends.

Academy graduate Pablo, 23, has barely featured since his promotion. The goalkeeper has one first-team outing and has not played in 2026. For now, the expectation is that his deal will also not be renewed.
