Bundesliga side Wolfsburg would like to sign 27-year-old attacker Maximilian Philipp on a permanent deal after joining the club on loan from Dinamo Moscow last summer.

“If the package is right, we would like to continue working with him,” managing director Jörg Schmadtke told Kicker.

Wolfsburg paid a €2 million loan fee to sign Philipp and although they have an €11m purchase option, they believe that they can negotiate a lower transfer fee.
