Abendzeitung reports there is no truth to claims that Nick Woltemade is seeking a Newcastle United exit or maintaining contact with Bayern Munich.

Speculation had suggested the forward was considering a summer departure, one year after arriving from VfB Stuttgart.

It was also claimed he had kept in touch with Bayern following a proposed transfer that fell through before his move to Newcastle.

The report adds that mutual appreciation remains between Woltemade and Bayern, and that the German champions will continue to monitor his development closely.

The 24-year-old has 10 goals in 40 appearances for Newcastle.
