Just a week after Chelsea and Brighton played out a six goal classic first half in the Premier League, Wolves and Brentford have served up another.

The Bees took the lead after just 75 seconds as Nathan Collins nodded home against his old club to continue their reputation for fast starts, but they were quickly pegged back as Matheus Cunha swept home an equaliser.

And they traded blows throughout a chaotic first half, with Bryan Mbuemo scoring from the spot before Strand-Larsen once again pulled Wolves level.

But Brentford, having dropped points after leading in each of their last three games, were not going to lie down and do it again, and found a two goal advantage by the break as first Christian Norgaard and then Ethan Pinnock found the net, rounding off a bonkers first half and leaving winless Wolves with a mountain to climb.
