According to ExpressAndStar.com, Betfair’s early prices for next season’s Championship put West Ham shortest, with Wolves well fancied and West Brom at longer odds.
The division was finalised after the Premier League ended on Sunday. Wolves, relegated last month, played their last top-flight match after eight years. Rob Edwards’ side drew at fellow relegated Burnley, and West Ham filled the final drop spot.
Bolton Wanderers won the League One play-off final on Sunday, completing the field. Clubs now turn to preparations for 2026/27, with transfer activity at Wolves and Albion expected to ramp up in the coming weeks.
In Betfair’s title market, Wolves are priced at 11 to two, behind West Ham, and just ahead of Burnley at 15 to two. Birmingham City are fourth favourites at 10 to one. Albion have drifted to 33 to one.
For promotion, West Ham lead the betting, with Wolves next in at a short price. Birmingham and Middlesbrough are among the chasers, and Wrexham are four to one to make it another rise. West Brom are 17 to two to go up automatically or via the expanded play-offs.
