Wolves have set out their first pre-season dates, with trips to Maidenhead United and Heerenveen as they prepare for the Championship.
Rob Edwards’ side visit Heerenveen on Saturday 1 August at Abe Lenstra Stadion, a 2pm UK kick-off, 3pm local. The club said in a statement that talks with Heerenveen, police and local authorities about away fan travel and allocation are ongoing, with details to be confirmed to supporters.
Before that, Wolves play at Maidenhead’s York Road on Tuesday 21 July, 7.30pm, in their first official friendly of the summer. The fixture was arranged as part of Max Kilman’s 2024 £40 million move to West Ham, and has been two years in the making.
Earlier in the summer the squad will head to Portugal for a warm-weather training camp, with no public matches scheduled during the trip.
Wolves are also due to add further friendlies before the season begins with a Carabao Cup first-round tie on the weekend of 7 August.
