Wolves cancelled a training session earlier this week after striker Tolu Arokodare refused to leave the first-team group, according to ExpressAndStar.com.

The flashpoint on Monday prompted the club to bring in extra security to prevent a repeat.

The 25-year-old is widely expected to depart this summer and will not feature in Wednesday's friendly at Maidenhead United.

Though not banned from the training ground, his exit increasingly looks acrimonious, creating an early headache for new head coach Cesar Peixoto.

He did not initially travel for last week's warm-weather camp in Portugal, receiving a late call-up only after fellow forward Adam Armstrong was injured.

Signed from Genk last summer, Arokodare scored just three Premier League goals as Wolves were relegated from the top flight.

In April he faced disciplinary action after a dressing-room bust-up with team-mate Mateus Mane during the 4-0 defeat at West Ham, when he was the sole aggressor.

Wolves have since accepted a loan offer from Trabzonspor, but the player turned the move down.
