Wolves supporters will press on with planned protests during the Premier League match against Brentford, while welcoming the exit of unpopular chairman Jeff Shi.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the Old Gold Pack helped coordinate a brief boycott of the opening minutes against Manchester United amid unrest over ownership, with chants inside Molineux aimed at Shi.

Shi left the club on Friday and has been replaced by Nathan Shi, a Fosun employee, who has been appointed interim chairman.

The group has called the departure a win but not the end, and has questioned whether Fosun are simply “shuffling the deck chairs”. It wants clarity on what the interim appointment means in the short term and on the longer term plan.

The planned ‘Our Club’ banner displays will go ahead against Brentford in the 18th and 77th minutes. Supporters had also unfurled a ‘Shi Out’ banner during the 8 December match against Manchester United at Molineux.
