Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina says they “deserved” to beat Tottenham Hotspur after coming from behind to score twice in the final moments of the game.
Brennan Johnson opened the scoring with his first goal since joining Spurs from Nottingham Forest in the summer. But the visitors created few chances from that point on and were largely outplayed by Wanderers for the rest of the encounter.
The hosts eventually found an equaliser in injury time when Pablo Sarabia showed tremendous skill and ball control to strike the ball past Guglielmo Vicario.

There was still time for a winner, and the Spaniard was involved again when he played through Mario Lemina, who stroked the ball home in the 97th minute to cause scenes of pandemonium in the Molineux crowd.
“It is an amazing feeling,” Lemina told TNT Sports. “We’ve been pushing so hard. We deserve this game; we had the best tactic to play against them and we showed it today. I scored the winner and I’m really happy.
“I’m feeling at my best. I’m not getting injured; the fans have supported me. I really love them and the club. I’ve tried to give back to them. We’ve been pushing hard, pressing, pressing. The subs did amazing; a good pass from [Matheus] Cunha and what a finish by [Pablo Sarabia].
“We need to think about the international break and the next game but we are going to enjoy this.”
