Former Milan striker and current Wolves player Patrick Cutrone is set to join Serie B side Como on a permanent basis.

Cutrone’s stint at Wolves has been filled with loan deals and he had spent the previous season on loan at Empoli. In the second half of the 2019/20 season, he was loaned out to Fiorentina.

It now seems as if he is leaving Wolves permanently, with Gianluca di Marzio claiming that he will sign a contract with Como till the summer of 2025. And the move is set to go through already.

Still only 24, Cutrone joined Wolves from Milan in the summer of 2018 but he was loaned out by the Premier League side to La VIola in January 2020. He scored five league goals for Fiorentina and returned to Wolves in January 2021, which was followed by a loan stint at Valencia. At Empoli last season, he scored three times for the Azzurri.
