Andre was Wolves’ standout as Santiago Bueno’s fourth goal of the season secured a point on a testing afternoon.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Pedro Lima lost Mukiele for the opener and was replaced at half-time. Santiago Bueno equalised from a Hugo Bueno corner, while Yerson Mosquera was denied by Alderete at the last moment.

Toti Gomes sent a close-range effort straight at Robin Roefs and Adam Armstrong had earlier drawn a decent save from the keeper. Andre used the ball well and repeatedly shut down Sunderland counters after the interval.

Tolu Arokodare was central to the game’s big talking point when a player was sent off for a second time for pulling his hair. He squandered the chance to be the match-winner after Armstrong’s deft header created the opening.

Dan Bentley had little to do but his handling was assured. Hugo Bueno carried a threat down the left and supplied the corner, with home fans unhappy to see him withdrawn. Mateus Mane drew a decent save and the changes saw Gomes R on at half-time, Gomes A on 78 and Edozie T on 90+3, with Bellegarde, Doherty, Hwang, Wolfe and Tchatchoua unused.
