Wolves are understood to be seeking around £40 million for Jorgen Strand Larsen ahead of January. The Guardian reports the valuation, while The Athletic says West Ham have expressed interest.
The Norway forward has been under scrutiny after the defeat to Brentford, where he missed a penalty and came in for criticism. He has since been linked with a move, with contact made regarding a potential January deal.
Everton are also among the clubs to have monitored the striker.
In the summer, Newcastle United made offers of £50 million and £55 million that Wolves rejected. A third bid had been anticipated but did not arrive, and Strand Larsen went on to sign a new contract.
Similar bids appear unlikely given the season he and Wolves have had, yet the club’s stance points to a sizeable fee. Wolves seem open to a sale, although whether any suitor gets close to their figure remains uncertain. Any proceeds could help accelerate a rebuild.
