The Dutch winger could be making a swift return to English football this summer
West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers have been pinpointed as the Championship's pre-season promotion candidates after their recent relegations from the Premier League, even though major changes have already, and are set to continue occurring at the London Stadium and Molineux respectively.
Indeed, Wolves have recently replaced Rob Edwards with 46-year-old Portuguese head coach, Cesar Peixoto, ahead of their first second tier term since 2018, whilst the man who, ironically, masterminded a 99-point title success in the West Midlands - Nuno Espirito Santo - will be staying on as Hammers boss.
Naturally, clubs in the position of Wanderers and their East London counterparts are always vulnerable to losing their most-valued assets and big names after falling from the Premier League into the Championship, albeit it is certainly the latter who have been at the very heart of major exit talk.
It has been widely reported that Mateus Fernandes is set to move across the capital to join Roberto De Zerbi's rebuild at Tottenham Hotspur, whilst it still remains to be seen if either, or both of Crysencio Summerville and West Ham captain, Jarrod Bowen, remain on Nuno's books when the competitive campaign gets underway.
Summerville, who had netted twice in the FIFA World Cup 2026, has been linked with a move to Manchester United, which could hinge on whether England ace, Marcus Rashford, remains at Old Trafford or not.
That said, West Ham have certainly been linked with a glut of potential replacements, some of which already boast experience of playing in the Championship, and a new name who falls into said category has now been revealed.

According to a report from Dutch publication, Soccernews, the Championship rivals are facing a potential battle with Premier League newcomers, Hull City, in the race to sign former Sheffield Wednesday winger, Anthony Musaba from Fenerbahçe.
It has been claimed that, just a matter of months after signing for the Istanbul-based side, the 25-year-old is receiving plenty of interest, although it is clubs from these shores who are said generating the most intense desire to acquire his services.
The publication claim that Fenerbahçe will listen to 'interesting offers' for Musaba, who has only made 23 appearances for his current employers thus far after joining from Samsunspor for a reported €5.75m fee on a four-year contract at the turn of the year, scoring twice but posting six assists in all competitions.
Indeed, the attacker moved to Samsunspor from the previously cash-strapped Owls for an undisclosed fee 12 months ago, having previously racked up 10 goals and 11 assists in 72 Championship appearances.
It is now being claimed that his versatility has made him a prime target for West Ham and Wolves, although the lure of the Premier League could give Hull an advantage.
It is also well-known that the Tigers have connections with Fenerbahçe, with owner, Acun Ilicali, a previous board member and lifelong supporter of the side who came second in last season's Süper Lig behind bitter rivals, Galatasaray.
City will also be looking to make their mark on the transfer market as a series of expected sales will leave them clear of any overspend and a potential points deduction following their play-off final win over Middlesbrough.

Although Musaba's tallies in Türkiye, given his short period at Samsunspor and currently at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, some would question whether they are also strong enough to see him replicate such numbers in the Premier League with a side who are being tipped for a season of struggle, even though his pace could be an asset to Sergej Jakirovic.
As such, West Ham and Wolves will hope Musaba is better served with a move to the Championship, and he now joins Australian winger, Nestory Irankunda of Watford, as another potential target for Nuno's men.
Wolves, meanwhile, had been linked with yet another reunion with former West Ham man, Adama Traoré, although talk on such a front has cooled in recent days.
