Women | Gallina, Pelgander and Berveglieri debut against Sampdoria | OneFootball

February 7, 2024, is a day that Arianna Gallina, Elsa Pelgander and Giorgia Berveglieri will always remember. That will forever be the day on which they made her first-team debut with Juventus Women.

Gallina, born in 2006 and a Biella native, came off the bench after just nine minutes in the quarter-final second leg against Sampdoria, following an injury to Federica Cafferata. The game was also Arianna's first time being called up to the first-team squad for a competitive game.

Gallina's first-team debut, rather impressively, comes just over a year after her Primavera debut with the club, that taking place in January 2023 against Parma.

Pelgander and Berveglieri too

Gallina wasn't alone in making her maiden first-team appearance against Sampdoria, as Pelgander and Berveglieri both came off the bench in the second half as well.

Pelgander, who joined the Bianconere in January, came off the bench with around 30 minutes to play. Berveglieri appeared for the final quarter of an hour.
