It was an international friendly with many great signs for Inter women, who beat Rangers W.F.C 5-2 on Stegona's pitch, continuing their summer tour in Alto Adige as best as possible. Inter got started stronger, coming close in the 5th minute through Magull, who hit the post. The Nerazzurre's pressure forced another chance in the 16th minute with Bowen hitting the bar after the cross came in from the right. After numerous chances, and some great stops form their keeper Ivarsdottir, the goal came in the 32nd minute: Magull delivered the corner Bartoli rose highest to make it 1-0. In the 43rd minute, we doubled our lead through Glionna's efforts, when her cross took a deflection off Eddie and found the back of her own net.
Inter also started the brightest in the second half: in the 46th minute, Marlo hit the woodwork, proving our dominance on the pitch. Three minutes later, Tomaselli made it three, making the most of a defensive error. In the 67th minute, Detruyer won a penalty, which was then converted calmly by Tomaselli to make it 4-0. Another three minutes passed, and Kullashi, who had just come on, scored the fifth, set up by a precious assist from Vilhajálmsdottir. In the end, Rangers got two back through Berry (73') and Wilkinson (86'), with two great Inter chances in between: Tomaselli missed a chance to get her hat-trick, while Deturyer hit the post, making it four times for us throughout the whole match.
