The second matchday of the group stage at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations kicks off this Wednesday, July 9, in Morocco. On the agenda: two Group A showdowns, with the Atlas Lionesses and Zambia facing DR Congo and Senegal respectively.
Zambia and Senegal go head-to-head this Wednesday at 16:00 GMT in a highly anticipated encounter. After Senegal's emphatic victory on the opening day over the Leopardesses (4-0), Zambia will be eager to bounce back and keep their qualification hopes alive.
At 19:00 GMT, DR Congo will take on host nation Morocco in a match that looks one-sided on paper. Morocco are looking to bounce back after a 2-2 draw with Zambia, while DR Congo are searching for their first win in the group.
